Green Bay Engine 3 was initially dispatched as the Still Engine for the report of a water flow alarm. Upon arrival, the key holder opened the building for crews to enter. Upon entry crews encountered heavy smoke and requested the full first alarm assignment. Engine 3 also augmented the sprinkler system since it had already activated. Crews made several attempts to locate the deep seated fire. Once located, the fire was found to be contained to a grinding machine used to shred used tires. Crews finished extinguishment and ventilated the structure.
